Dr. Kathryn Dalton, "Dr. Kate", is a board certified general surgeon in practice over 10 years. 

Dr. Dalton attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford, ME and completed a residency in General Surgery at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital/ Michigan State University/ Wyandotte, MI. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery in General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. She is a Cosmetic Surgeon through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons.

 Dr. Dalton has courtesy privileges at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth, MA. She has been a professional national clinical speaker for Myriad Genetics on hereditary cancer syndromes and breast cancer genomic testing. She is a member of the American College of Regenerative Medicine. She is passionate about the philosophy that the body has the ability to regenerate itself in her aesthetics practice. She practiced in the Metro Detroit area origionally as a trauma and general surgeon from 2013-2015. She was recruited to Cape Cod and practiced at Cape Cod Hosptial from 2015 until 2020. There she was the medical director of the High Risk Breast program and Women's Health at Cape Cod Hospital. She was first introduced to the world of aesthetics when her patients with breast cancer kept asking her if she provided "nips and tucks, and lifts and such". She had to keep saying no, but since they were so entrusting of her with their lives and seeking-out her aesthetic opinion. They inspired Dr. Kate to pursue extra training in minimally invasive or non-invasive aesthetic services.  Not soon after realizing the demand, she opened a small-scale medical spa in Hyannis in April 2019, and then relocated to Falmouth to make a full-service medical spa in October of 2019. That was the beginning of Cape Cod Aesthetics and MediSpa, now named Cape Cod Surgical Arts and MediSpa! Dr. Dalton completed an intensive two year Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was trained by the best cosmetic and plastic surgeons in the country. Her interest is body contouring, breast surgery and minimally-invasive face and neck procedures.

 

After facing illness herself, Dr. Dalton decided it was time for a lifestyle change to allow herself to have a healthy work-life balance and dove right into her aesthetics practice. She dedicates all of her time with the MediSpa.  After Covid, she also found that there was a change in the current medical landscape resulting limited access to care and lack of health-advocacy. She has since has also added Dalton Medical Group within the MediSpa to fill the gaps and provide top-notch general surgery service, access and advocacy with a personal touch.

 

Dr. Kate has hired, trained and vetted an incredible team of

professionals at Cape Cod Surgical Arts and MediSpa. Together they provide a supportive and compassionate environment where patients feel attended to and cared for. They promote quality of life as Dr. Kate is notorious for saying "life is for living"! You will feel Dr. Kate's energy and passion with every interaction and she has quite the sense of humor!

 

She approaches her practice with mind-body-spirit integration under her philosophy that health on the inside reflects on the outside and vice versa. Dr. Kate is well-respected in the community for her work in Women's Health. She is active in her community and volunteered on the Board of Cape Wellness Collaborative and is founder of Cape Cod's "Dancing of Dancing with the Docs".  She speaks locally and nationally on her trade and her passions. Aesthetic providers seek her out from come from near and far to learn and precept with her on her business model and aesthetic techniques.

 

She has won numerous awards for Community Service and Service Excellence.
