Is there any downtime after dermaplaning?
There is little to no downtime after dermaplaning. Your skin may appear slightly pink or feel a little more sensitive immediately afterward, but this typically subsides quickly. Most patients can return to their normal activities right away.
Will dermaplaning make my facial hair grow back thicker or darker?
No. Dermaplaning does not change the thickness, color, or rate of hair growth. Your facial hair will grow back just as it did before treatment.
