RF microneedling is an advanced, medical-grade treatment that combines the precision of microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production deep within the skin. The treatment creates controlled micro-injuries while delivering radiofrequency energy beneath the surface, encouraging your skin’s natural healing process and promoting firmer, smoother, more youthful-looking skin.

For an added regenerative boost, RF microneedling can be paired with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or a growth factor serum. PRP is created from a small blood sample and contains concentrated platelets and growth factors that support the skin’s natural renewal process. For those who prefer to avoid a blood draw, a growth factor serum offers an alternative enhancement designed to support skin rejuvenation.

RF microneedling can also be performed on its own, allowing your provider to customize your treatment based on your skin’s needs and your goals.

Before your treatment

Arrive without makeup, creams or moisturizer.
Tylenol is fine the day of treatment. Avoid Motrin, Advil and other ibuprofen products, which can increase bruising.
Recommended protocol: three treatments 4 to 6 weeks apart, then once a year for maintenance.

Does RF microneedling hurt?

We apply topical numbing cream before treatment, and inhaled anesthesia (Pro-Nox) is available. The areas around the mouth, hairline and eyes are more tender, but the treatment is over quickly.

Do I have to have my blood drawn?

No. PRP uses a small sample of your own blood, but you can choose a growth factor serum instead, or have RF microneedling on its own.
